The goal of BirdBase is to enable access to multiple data sets from different organizations and to provide an experimental database to facilitate electronic data storage and data sharing of bird surveys. The website and database systems are developed by Hokkaido Institute of Environmental Science and Japan Sciences and Technology Agency.
